Golfing in Central Otago is all about fun in the sun, and at the same time enjoying the region’s fabulous scenery. Set in a natural alpine amphitheatre against the backdrop of the Remarkables, this 27-hole golf course exploits the dramatic terrain and delivers world-class golf.
Cromwell golf course is further from the sea than any other in New Zealand, yet it is built on genuine coastal ‘links’ style terrain. Redeveloped to the tune of a million dollars back in 2010-12.
Set amongst a backdrop that could be straight out of the Lord of the Rings movie, Jacks Point is a truly remarkable course. Designed by New Zealand’s own John Darby.
The Hills was designed by Darby Partners and opened in 2007 to host the NZ Open. Set in over 500 acres of land stretching across a glacial valley, the layout highlights rocky outcrops.
